    Date for the next meeting of East of Scotland Branch will be Saturday 24th February 1930hrs at Prestonpans Royal British Legion.

    Stewart Snedden Memorial Golf 2024

    Hi all, We hope you are all well. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to change the location of the Stewart Snedden Memorial Golf 2024.

    As this was short notice, the Admin Team worked quickly to secure a new location at Kingsknowe Golf Club. The date (Friday 31 May 2024) and time to meet (0700Hrs) are still the same.

    To ensure this change of location reaches everyone can we ask that you pass it onto other members of your team/flight including the caddies and any friends you know are attending. Thank you.

    Royal Scots Poppy Wreath

    We have updated the centre on The Royal Scots Poppy Wreath. This is now the standard item when a Royal Scots Poppy Wreath is ordered from the Lady Haig Poppy Factory. Great work by Ray Thomson on the image and many thanks to the team at the Lady Haig Poppy Factory for producing it.

    BURNS SUPPER 25th JANUARY 2025

    Hi, just thought I would give a heads up with lots of notice that next year’s Burns Supper will be hosted by CENTRAL BRANCH of The Royal Scots Association. The event will be at the Best Western Hilcroft Hotel, Whitburn where we have managed to secure 9 rooms at a great cost of £65. Breakfast is also included in the cost. Rooms can be booked directly with the hotel on stating you are attending the Branch Burns Supper. Once these rooms are gone…..they are gone!

    The Burns Supper will be full of fun, entertainment and laughter and gives you a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones! For the cost of £20 per person, you will receive a 3 course meal, wine on the table and a nip of whisky for the toast. So, if you fancy a wee night out, a swally, a chinwag, great company, food etc, then get in touch. Please don’t wait until the last minute as we are restricted to numbers. If you wish to attend, let me know ASAP. Hope to see you then.

    Dates for the Diary.

    Fri 23rd. FEB Reg Association AGM to be held in the Royal Scot Club, 18:30 in the bar and then AGM to start 19:00 sharp. Info has been posted out and on various media pages along with proxy voting papers.

    Sat 30th Mar Reg Dinner night to be held in the Royal Scot Club costing £30 per head. Names in ASAP numbers are limited.

    BURNS NIGHT SATURDAY 27th JANUARAY.

    Just a small reminder cut off date for numbers attending East of Scotland Branch Joint Burns Night is now Monday 22 Jan.

    To date we have 71 personnel attending our Burns Night at Prestonpans British Legion on Saturday 27th Januaray.
