  3. It is with great sadness that we report the death on Sun 16 October 2022 of Mr Jim Anderson. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Funeral details will be promulgated in due course when they are known.

Jim was a loyal Royal Scot who continued to give great service to the Regimental Trust, particularly in developing the website and managing IT. He will be greatly missed.

    1. Condolences to Jim’s family at this sad time.

    2. I am very sorry to have learned of the death of Jim Anderson, a stalwart of The Royal Scots Association and a wider contributor to our Regimental Pillars through his tireless IT work.

A great many of Jim’s talents were evident to us all in the visible product of his technical expertise. Equally valuable was the work he did behind the scenes, invisible to most of us but nonetheless important.

Jim, a very loyal Old Royal, will be much missed.

  5. A great turnout yesterday for Mick’s funeral.
Good that his long time pal Tam O’Hara made it over from NZ.
A big well done to Stu Simpson who helped manage the occasion and gave Mick the send off he deserved. Our thoughts remain with Carol and the family.
    RIP Mick.

  6. Sad to hear about the passing of Mick, CQMS C Company alongside Pierre Lamont and Joe McCamley in Ballykinler. RIP.

    1. Was a great Charlie Company team in Ballykinler and South Armagh. Mick was a key player and a really loyal Royal; will be thinking of his family tomorrow.

  7. From CQMS store to Company Office to ops in Armagh, all in one seamless movement. Thrown in at the deep end and no mistake!

    Bests wishes,
    Jungle Jim

    1. I had hoped that this one would follow on from Rossco’s post. Might not make sense otherwise.
