  4. Message from Christopher Delacombe

    Dear All
As you know we have been severely cut down on the number of tickets available to us this year and our allocation of 25 is fully subscribed with a waiting list being drawn up.
Royal British Legion (RBL) has said that any unallocated places will be reallocated on a first come first served basis towards the end of August.
For those of you not already registered to march on Remembrance Day this is therefore your last chance to be able to take part on this centenary of the end of WW1
Some personal details for those on the waiting list I already have but I would be grateful for the following details if you still wish to join the regimental contingent this year:
    Rank or title
    First name
    Date of birth
    Place of birth
    Full address (including post code)
Military/personal number (if remembered or relevant)
Armed with that detail I shall be able to register you as soon as the places become available. In view of the significance of the year I expect them to be taken very quickly and I can only try to register you as a marcher if I have your details at the moment the spare slots are made available for bids. These details are then required for security checks prior to the weekend and personal checks on the day. It goes without saying that tickets are not transferable and security this year will be stricter than usual.
I look forward to hearing from you if you wish to march and are not already registered with RBL to do so.

    Best wishes
    Christopher Delacombe

I would also like to thank The Royal Scots Association PIpe Band. Past and present members for all coming together to see him off. My mother was so pleased to see so many familiar faces. They truly made this day special for her and the family.
