Can anyone please direct me to a timeline that clarifies Scottish regimental history? Please excuse any ignorance on my part regarding such a proud history.
I am thinking a timeline beginning with the circa 1633 Royal Scots and evolving to the present. Scottish regimental history can be overwhelming to a foreigner with examples to include but not limited to the Borderers, Fusiliers, Black Watch, various Highlanders, and the present day Royal Regiment. A simple timeline might help clarify that history.
It is with a heavy heart that I post this notice this morning. I received an email from Canada to inform me that Glen Allan passed away two weeks ago. Glen was a very lovely man and I had the pleasure of being a friend of his through the Regimental newsletter. Gone but not forgotten Glen. You can now relax and share your time with your beloved Harriet again. RIP my friend.
News Bulletin 33 Jobs is now available to download or read, also a new newsletter Unforgotten Forces has been added.
