I would like to have those who fought in the HONG KONG Campaign in 1941 recognised for their contribution as were the Canadians. in particular the 2nd battalion of the Royal Scots who suffered heavy losses. This Battle has been continually brushed under the carpet and when at a time other theatres of war are recognised I feel this should also be. Please could this be discussed at your meeting and look forward to hearing the response. Thank you. Daughter of Bandsman George E Wilkinson 2nd Battalion Royal Scots. Deceased.
