HHQ has been informed that repatriation of LCpl Joseph Pool will be on Thursday 9th September and will pass through the Town of Wootton Bassett approx 1315 - 1400. Funeral details will be published once known.

Home Headquarters The Royal Scots has been informed that William (Billy) Johnston sadly passed away on Thursday 2nd September. The funeral will be at Mortonhall on Friday 10th September.

So sad to hear we have lost another member of the Battalion, my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family, friends and comrades of LCpl Joseph Poole. He will no doubt be remembered like those who have gone before him, may God look after him and may he rest in peace. Lest We Forget Geordie
