  1. It is with great sadness that we report the death on 12th January at Inverclyde Royal Hospital of Patrick (Pat) Cassiday. Pat’s funeral took place on 24th January at Greenock Crematorium.
Pat served in 1RS in the 60s and 70s.

  2. From Marion Richardson (nee Pugh).

On Wednesday 6 Feb I went to the funeral of my brother, David Pugh, at Seafield Crematorium. Davie was a proud Royal Scot for most of his life and would have been so pleased to know that the service was marked by several veterans, the “band of brothers”. They were very dignified and respectful and their support gave great comfort to me at this difficult time. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to them all. I have but few photos of my brother and it was a joy to see a picture of him with his comrades that one of the veterans clearly cherished.
    Thank you once more.
